HVNS hospice believes that every moment of life is to be cherished and honored. To that end, we offer our House to those who are terminally ill and in need of additional support. Our focus is to provide you with a source of comfort and care so that you are free to travel this final portion of life's journey peacefully, with those who are important to you at your side.
 

The VNS Hospice House
is the first Muskegon Residence. It is a beautifully decorated, nine-bed residential facility, designed to accommodate and comfort terminally ill patients and their families.

Our Hospice Team
of caring professionals includes our Medical Director, nurses, social workers, therapists, pastoral and other counselors, home health aides and volunteers. Our staff works with you, your family and your attending physician to carry out a medically sound plan of care focused on you comfort.

We Provide for:
Pain and symptom management
Your social, emotional, and spiritual needs
Supplies and equipment needed for comfort
Bereavement support for your loved ones

The Cost
Room and board is the responsibility of you and your family. A down payment is required at the time of your admission. The daily charge is:

$75 per day semi-private room

$100 per day private room

Our Facility
features five single rooms and two double rooms, each with custom furniture, massage mattress, refrigerator, and television.

Our family dayroom has a fully-equipped kitchen, overstuffed furniture and a fireplace.

Our chapel features two stained glass windows and a waterfall. The Garden Courtyard features a pond and fountain.
